Team Infamy arrives mob deep along with Black Lotus in aliases at Paintball Asylum 3-man tournament for some fun and ruckus. Games were tight and field layout was very challenging.

but in the end when the smoke cleared Infamy a.k.a "Gabes Guerillas" take 1st place and a little pocket stash. Not bad for a memorial day weekend. May just return for seconds.

Today was a grindfest of unique proportions as the team traveled to OXCC to trial run the new layout for 5 Star Event #2. What a shock to know that the new layout has a "Peek A Boo" center 50 with the Big W on the sidelines leaving  teams even more vulnerable to being laned out off the go very easy or blitkrieged right down the throat. The field is fast paced with a little chess play. This field actually plays right into the teams style of play and will be exploited in 2 weeks. This is 'Redemption" and they intend to be ready.

"Foul!" Infamy 5man comes out the gate strong for the season opener smashing first couple teams but stumble along the way during mid game closes and temporarily loses momentum. On the regroup they tried to make their usual comeback and were on their way, but mental blocks cost them dearly on a critical match against Team Driven, denying them entry to quarter finals by a game. However; Redemption came in the form of 3man Squad who valiantly fought to take 3rd place for the first event of the series.

Lessons were certainly learned from this....

Welcome back Infamy. Its been awhile since the team last slung paint at World Cup roughly about 6 years ago. At that time they were one of the top 3 successful dominating teams in NPPL Division 2 7-man. World Cup 2016 saw the return of Infamy as a Division 4 5man team in NXL. New squad new faces, but same spirit. It was a difficult start and at one point looked as if Saturday was going to be there last day of play. But as history would have it, the team has always been a 2 half team. Coming back from a deficit they battled back to make the Sunday club but lost a a rubber match again Texas Phalanx due to technicalities. Regardless it was a complete and successful blast.

Glorious.

The scene couldn't have been any crazier. The teams 3man squad played strong through the competition and monstered their way to a 1st place, sealing the deal as the 2016 Series Champions.

Sunday was the wild west as the 5man team battled it out finishing 3 & 1 to make it into the quarters, only to face the very same team they just defeated in the last game of the prelims. This was a slug fest that climaxed with a traumatic turn of events during game 2 of the quarters, swinging a sure win for infamy to the opposing team, in a series of bloopers that turned the tide, and put the brakes on their drive to the finals. but in the end the team held heads high finishing 3rd overall in the 2016 series for this new gen squad.

Utterly Impressive Gentlemen. Well Done.

The Team struggled yet persevered til the bitter end making the quarter finals cut only to come up short after a 3 round back and forth battle with East Coast Regulators whom they met just a month ago at EPL Independence Cup. It was a rough day for several of top teams who normally make the cut.

EPL Independence Cup 2016 was the site of a rampage as Infamy tore through the competition point after point game match after game match determined and relentless as they soundly defeated Reigning Champs East Coast Regulators to snatch the 1st place podium.

Talk about double whammy. Events 2 & 3 proved to be a stumbling block for the team as they fumble back to back showings failing to make the quarter finals cut at either event. Lack of communication and focus plagued the synergy of the team only to leave them well short of any chances to at least place. Back to the drawing board.

Infamy comes out swinging at the first event of the All New 5 Star Series at OXCC in MD. April 17th. After battling through the prelim competition Infamy had to face a familiar nemesis in Team Noobies to see who will take home First Place in event #1 

The Team was very focused and determined to not only make their mark but also their intentions well known that we are Back and the fight is on see who will become the 2016 5 Star series Champs. Happy Hunting INFAMY.

Team Infamy returns to enter the New 2016 "5 Star Series in collaboration with GPL & EPL This league is all about the combining of best east coast has to offer competition wise as they look to prove their worth as a formidable team and the goal of becoming one of the top teams in the league in hopes of repeating the same achievement as that of the previous Infamy squad who were the reigning GPL champions during the 2008 & 2009 season.

The team will undergo alot of rigorous off-season training and drills as well as interview new tryouts for the organization. The goal here is to solidify our senior squad for 5man regionals and to field a 3man core unit to represent as well. A new kids team called Black Lotus will be come an affiliate of the organization and benefit from training and working out with the team

2015 GPL season proved quite challenging as the team went through alot of mid-season personnel changes and adjustments but nonetheless weathered through and made it no easy fight for the competition. Having to merge squads the team managed to make it work as best as possible with who they had to make a respectable run, and played with heart and fire to finish out the season and to bring to a close the last of the rebuilding process.. Next season will be a different story.

During the offseason of 2014 Infamys home field of LVP South underwent an ownership change. Brian Barno, New owner of Outdoor Xtreme Paintball Park in Chesapeake City in Maryland. aquired and consolidated Lehigh Valley Paintball into the collective and is now Outdoor Xtreme Hafield PA. New changes are taking place and the development of new fields are now in the works to bring back the competition teams to the area. Infamy will once again be able to conduct drills, scrimmages and more as the development of the fields progress.

Team Infamy returns to the competition scene after an almost 5 year hiatus from the tournament circuit. The new blood of the team, remnants from the now retired Philly Notorious have given a soul to the 3rd generation of the Infamy competition organization. After a restructuring and building season in 2014, Infamy now debuts onto the scene with a hungry squad of young, seasoned, and veteran players poised to take on all opposition in their quest to once again become one of the most formidable competition teams in the circuit.
